Welcome to Boulder Valley Instrument Repair owned and operated by Brandon E. Chambers. Brandon has over 20 years of hands-on experience repairing school band instruments, including all woodwinds and brass (and select percussion), along with maintaining professional instruments formerly in the Tulsa area (Tulsa Symphony and Signature Symphony). While Boulder Valley Instrument Repair is “new” to Boulder, you will enjoy the kind of service and support you would expect from a shop with two decades of experience helping musicians get the most out of their instruments.
Brandon attended the University of Tulsa where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He was a band director in Oklahoma for a short time but felt he was meant to do something else. Brandon decided to become a band instrument repair apprentice at Saied Music Company in his young 20’s. He learned fast and quickly became the “go-to” guy for many schools, teachers, and professionals in the Tulsa area.
Mr. Chambers moved to Colorado in the summer of 2023 to set up his own shop in Boulder. He lives in Longmont with his wife, Kristen Denny-Chambers (clarinetist, teacher and composer – clarinetplayground.com), his two kids, and their sweet little dog, Lucy.
